Random but dope. Mistrix put a classic House touch on “Lola’s Theme” by The Shapeshifters and it is groovy and just upbeat enough to wake you up but not repetitive enough that it’ll annoy you.
Month: October 2019
juuku – “gone” (ft. Natalie)
For his 2nd drop on Found / Red, juuku is back with another bashful banger, this time with vocal support from Natalie. “Gone” is well worth the listen and juuku continues to impress!
Yadava – Earth Tones
Cool stuff here. Good album to get work/ stuff done to. Check it out above now via Omena Records!
L’indécis – “Second Wind” (anbuu remix)
Love me some lo-fi… Especially when it is this smooth. Tune into this next level flip above now and keep a atab on anbuu!
DEVAULT – SAPPHIRE
It’s been a wild ride watching DEVAULT’s soar to the top of the EDM game, but clearly very well deserved. His new project Sapphire shows off his production ability and ear for quality sounds.
m-cubed – “popcorn”
The record label name is what drew me into listening to this one (more creativity records). The tripped out sound design on “Popcorn” is right up my alley. It sounds like Mura Masa on acid, or something.
Two Can – “Gonna Be”
“Gonna Be” is a good moody jam for a fall evening. Right in the feels if you’re going through something, trust me.
Jaron – “As The World Gets Smaller”
Caught this on my timeline and was blown away. It sounds like if Explosions in the Sky made music with Porter Robinson, wrapped up in a trippy ambient towel of underground EDM.
Keegan Fordyce – “Sucker For You” (feat. Doug the Thug)
“Sucker For You” is undeniably catchy. Never heard of anyone involved, but I am sold on this collab.
INZO – “Wonder”
Honestly just caught wind of this one the other day and I am loving it. Who is INZO? Gonna have to do a deep dive into this dude’s catalog after hearing “Wonder”. Listen above!
